The Project is characterised by the extensive use of concrete, with a contemporary look both for the living space as well as the exterior distribution. This material, together with the wooden elements, propose a clear though subtle contrast with the natural components of the patio. This material together with a marked timber pose yet subtle contrast with the natural elements of the court, noting instances, denoting path through the undergrowth which in turn accompanies these circulations bounded by trails cross the decline, which allows a much fuller contemplation walking environment, recognition of this through colors, textures and others like the contrast of materials, finishing this in the lower part of the pool area which merges both the eye and the other travels through different topographic levels that the Project has.

Addressing a need to fill the outside spaces, just as within a home, we configured a number of spaces in the courtyard of this house. Here takes place the development of these spaces, to shape the areas in which the family lives outdoors.

​

Places like the barbecue and terrace made of Wood creating a light screen, but with timbler sleepers highlighting their own height, with steps placed according to what the terrain requires, highlight the intention of creating spaces for actual use and grant value to the landscape as a result of this. It proposes an order and harmony as a result of an intention of use of outdoor spaces, and by the utilization of materials such as brick and concrete, place the resident almost in an interior living mode.

When performing both an architectual and landscape project, we are influenced either directly or tacitly by a freely generated intent from the inclination of an owner of the designer for a particular form or in this case for a given material. It is the use of Stone which is being proposed here, as we transform it into the tool that will bring into harmony the elements that give character to the backyard of a house.

​

The stones on the ground and the patio, subtly highlight a visitor’s tour on this Surface, so as not to disrupt this order, and ítems such as Stone pots, becoming part of the land, all arise from the original intent in simple, clear, harmony of each element with another.
